Antonio is a committed Shotokan black belt who teaches karate and self-defense to both children and adults.

"Women should not have to be marital artists to be able to defend themselves.  They should be taught to adapt to various life threatening situations using easy and realistic techniques.  A self defense instructor’s goal should be to ensure that his or her students survive the threat and escape, and not concern themselves with the apprehension and/or detention of the attacker. 

"Rape is a very serious crime and the possible consequences to a woman are extreme and long lasting.  As a Rape Escape instructor, I teach women how to use simple techniques to defend themselves against brute force.  All women have the right to defend themselves and I plan to help women exercise that right."
