Women's Self-Defense Instructors
Instructor 1 Reva is a counselor for young women and adolescent girls who became a certified instructor as a way to empower herself, and then to empower others. "My philosophy is, ‘refuse to be a victim’, defend yourself,” she says. She works to develop positive self-image for women through art and has worked as a case manager for youth and families in crisis.
